Rules
In addition, you can check out the 2025 rule book which can be accessed HERE.
-
Both players tee off, then choose the best shot. The other player picks up their ball and places it within one club length of the chosen spot (no closer to the hole).
Preferred lies 30cm for first player
Both players hit from the chosen spot, repeating this process until the ball is holed.
Each team must use a minimum of 4 tee shots per player, one of the tee shots must be on a par 3.
Mark your ball – if placing within one club length, the ball cannot be placed closer to the hole or in a different type of lie (e.g. from rough to fairway).
-
Each hole is scored based on points, not total strokes
Points are awarded depending on how you score against par
Your handicap gives you extra strokes on certain holes
If you can’t score points on a hole, pick up and move on
The player with the most points at the end wins
-
No Gimmes
Out of bounds and lost balls – If a ball is lost or out of bounds, the player must replay from the original spot with a one-stroke penalty.
Penalty areas (hazards) – If your ball enters a penalty area (water hazard, red/yellow stakes), you can take a one-stroke penalty and drop a ball at the nearest point of relief.
-
Must be on the fairway (Prize for each day).
Use long drive marker and just move it to where you ball is and write your name down, last group to take the marker with them.
Day 1 hole 6
Day 2 hole 6
Day 3 hole 7
-
All par 3’s qualify on the day, nearest to the pin for the entire day on any Par 3 hole (Prize for each day).
Take a photo with the flag stick as the measure and send to group chat.
-
