
Rules of Ambrose
Both players tee off, then choose the best shot. The other player picks up their ball and places it within one club length of the chosen spot (no closer to the hole).
Preferred lies 30cm for first player
Both players hit from the chosen spot, repeating this process until the ball is holed.
Each team must use a minimum of 4 tee shots per player, one of the tee shots must be on a par 3.
Mark your ball – if placing within one club length, the ball cannot be placed closer to the hole or in a different type of lie (e.g. from rough to fairway).
General Rules
No Gimmes
Out of bounds and lost balls – If a ball is lost or out of bounds, the player must replay from the original spot with a one-stroke penalty.
Penalty areas (hazards) – If your ball enters a penalty area (water hazard, red/yellow stakes), you can take a one-stroke penalty and drop a ball at the nearest point of relief.
Longest drive hole
Must be on the fairway (Prize for each day).
Use long drive marker and just move it to where you ball is and write your name down, last group to take the marker with them.

NTP
All par 3’s qualify on the day, nearest to the pin for the entire day on any Par 3 hole (Prize for each day).
Take a photo with the flag stick as the measure and send to group chat.
Scoring General
Squabbit own score, it will display net score.
Backup Scorecard for you/your team and another team, players to double check scores after every hole and at the end of the round. Scorecards to be given to TJ at the end of the round.
Scoring overall
For each event if you place in the top 7 the following points are allocated:
1st - 10
2nd - 8
3rd - 6
4th - 4
5th - 3
6th - 2
7th - 1
Highest total points over 3 rounds wins.
